Charles A. "Chick" Russo, Union Beach, a brother of our Beta Rho Chapter initiated in 1966, passed from this life on October 22, 2015 at the age of 68, at Riverview Medical Center, in Red Bank, New Jersey. Born on January 19, 1947, in Jersey City, he was raised there. In 1981, Russo moved from Jersey City to Union Beach, New Jersey, where he lived for the next 44 years of his life, until his passing in 2015.
Russo was a member of the Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity; he attended school at Gannon University and join its Beta Rho Chapter. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus (at St. Joseph); the Knights of the Grip; and he was active in the St. Joseph and local sport youth leagues. He served in the Army National Guard for six years. He retired in 2012 from Pepperidge Farms, Edison, as a District Sales Manager. At the time of his death he was survived by his beloved wife, Madeline (nee Grunwald); and six loving sons.
