Our Five Primary Foundation Funds
Communication is the key to success. Our Kleos is the key method of staying in touch with every brother and providing the link to lifetime affiliation. Click here to see the current Kleos and view the Kleos archives dating back to the 1929 edition!
Perhaps no other college experience prepares one for future leadership better that the fraternity experience. There are few more challenging positions than that of a chapter officer. Through grants from the Foundation, Alpha Phi Delta hosts leadership conferences across the country for chapter members and officers each year. This program is designed to assist brothers in financial distress due to a Presidentially declared disaster, such as hurricanes or earthquakes. In the event of devastation due to an event like Hurricane Sandy or Hurricane Harvey, applications for assistance can be filled out. Don’t wait for the next disaster to hit. Please help us fund this so we are in a position to help brothers in need. Click here to learn more about APD Cares.
Our Scholarship Fund is the largest fund in the Foundation portfolio providing annual awards to over 60 deserving students on the basis of scholastic achievement and personal need. Each year over 100 qualified applications are received in what has become a very competitive process. For more information on the Scholarship, click here. For a Scholarship Application (due May 31), click here. To view the Scholarship Trustees that spend countless hours review the many applications each year, click here.
The fund expands opportunities of all brothers to visit our archives, study our cultural origins, discover the early history of all our chapters. Through this fund, we intend to research information on the lives of our brothers and document Alpha Phi Delta's contributions to society.
