Established by the brothers of the North Jersey Alumni Club (NJAC) to honor Americo (Em) Faruolo a founding member of Beta Xi Chapter at Newark College of Engineering (now N.J.I.T) and the NJAC. Em was born in Newark, NJ and lived in West Orange for many years before moving to Parsippany. He was a mechanical engineer at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ before retiring in 1976.
