Alpha Phi Delta Foundation: Philanthropy
Assisting Philanthropic enDeavors
Assisting Philanthropic enDeavors: Brothers helping brothers, helping others.
Philanthropy has become a cornerstone of Greek life in the 21st century. Anyone who pledged a fraternity or sorority in the past 20 years has, undoubtedly, participated in many philanthropic efforts within their chapters. In many cases, colleges and universities with Greek life have made philanthropy a factor by which Greek organizations are viewed and measured. Alpha Phi Delta is no exception to this movement. Our brothers have made philanthropy a priority within their chapters, and are doing great work in their local communities.
In an effort to help our chapters with their philanthropy efforts, the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation has created a new arm called Assisting Philanthropic enDeavors. Our chapters now have an additional way to achieve their charitable goals. When a chapter raises money for a qualifying charity, a request can be made to the Foundation to receive an additional donation, made directly to the charity in question.
This type of support is just another of many reasons why Alpha Phi Delta is different from other fraternities. The words “permanent activity and support” aren’t just words. Our brothers take this virtue to heart, and carry it with them well beyond their college years. As a part of the Foundation, donations can be made and specified to go toward this effort. It is a direct avenue by which alumni brothers can help their undergraduate chapters. By designating your Foundation donation to the Assisting Philanthropic enDeavors arm, you can directly help undergraduate chapters meet their philanthropy goals. No donation is too small. For more information on how to make a tax-deductible donation, scroll to the bottom of this page.
