Brother Salvatore Flagiello (Gamma Rho '06) was as elected National President of Alpha Phi Delta by a unanimous vote of the National Council during its annual meeting on February 29, 2020, at St. John's University in Staten Island. Brother Flagiello is the 55th National President of Fraternity; he previous served at National Vice, Expansion Chairman, and New York City District Governor, among other. Along with Brother Flagiello, Brother Paul Zammit (Gamma Sigma '03), the current National Secretary and former North Jersey District Governor, was elected as National Vice President by unanimous vote. He is the Fraternity's 47th National Vice President. Following their elections, both of these leaders was honored by the brotherhood by the being given the Fraternity Handclap by entire membership of the National Council. Both Brother Flagiello and Zammit begin their tenure in their new roles on July 1, 2020. The brotherhood wishes them a successful term of office. Faciamus!

Rocky Mountain Leadership Conference (held for entities in the Rocky Mountain District) Date: Saturday, January 19, 2019 at TBD Location: TBD Eastern Leadership Conference (usually held for entities in the Connecticut, Long Island, Hudson Valley, Newark, NYC North, NYC South, North Jersey, and Upstate New York Districts) Date: Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 9:00AM Location: Manhattan College - Smith Auditorium (4513 Manhattan College Parkway, Bronx, NY 10471) Western Leadership Conference (usually held for entities in the Central Penn, Delaware Valley, and Midwest Districts) Date: Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 9:00AM Location: Pennsylvania State University - Altoona Campus - Harry E. Slep Student Center (3000 Ivyside Park, Altoona, PA 16601) Florida Leadership Conference (held for entities in the Florida District) Date: Saturday, March 16, 2019 at TBD Location: TBD Brothers from Beta Lambda Chapter (St. Francis University) played host to a crowd of undergraduates and alumni at the Fraternity's Western Leadership Conference on January 28th, 2017. The Conference, underwritten by the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation by way of the support of alumni John Hadgkiss and Michael Zerega PNP, took place on a snowy Saturday in DiSepio Hall at SFU. Topics included chapter management, the human factor in college life, social media use/misuse/addiction, chapter officer training, a Foundation informational, tour of the APD website, risk management, and much more. Bobby Anderson, the campus's Director of Student Engagement and Leadership Development lead off the day's presentations. Brothers from SFU, Youngstown State University, Franciscan University of Steubenville, Gannon University, Duquesne University, Robert Morris University, Pennsylvania State University, PSU Altoona, Misericordia University, La Salle University, Stockton University, and Wesley College were in attendance, along with many officers and alumni. The gathering started with breakfast at 9am and concluded after dinner at about 5:30pm. National President Jim Miller served as emcee for the day's activities. |
