His first two assignments were as a parochial vicar at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Vineland, New Jersey and St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Camden. He was served as a Pastor at three parishes: Holy Spirit, Atlantic City (1985-96); St. Peter, Pleasantville (1996-2004); and Queen of Angels, Landisville (2004-05). Father Falotico also spent much of his more than 40 years as active ministry in service to Hispanic Catholics. He was assigned to the Brigeton-Millville Spanish Apostolate (1974-78); served as assistant director of the Vineland Catholic Spanish Center (1983-85); and in Hispanic Ministry at St. Nicholas, Egg Harbor City (2006-10), while also serving at a Parochial Vicar at St. Joseph's in Hammonton.
Following his retirement, he continued his service to God, as part-time chaplain at Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
"Fr. Ron" as he was known to our Fraternity brothers was initiated into Gamma Mu Chapter (Richard Stockton College) on January 23, 1992. He held the office of National Chaplain from 1992-1996, and was a visible presence at National Council Meetings of the Fraternity during that period. He was a joyful figure in his role as Chaplain and is well remembered by our brotherhood.
Central Office asks that our Chapters and Alumni entities have a moment of silence in his memory (as well as in memory of all of our deceased Past Chaplains) at their next meetings.
Fr. Falotico (Gamma Mu) who served from 1992-96, was the last living Past National Chaplain who had been a Priest or Religious Order Brother; in the Chapter Eternal he now joins Fr. Salvatore Federici (Psi) who served from 1950-68; Br. Camillus Casey (Beta Sigma) who served from 1968-81; Fr. Leonard Tuozzolo (Psi) who served from 1986-92; and Fr. Albert Cervella (Beta Delta) who served from 1997-2003.
