Brother Smé is an Alumnus Emeritus of Alpha Phi Delta, having been initiated into the Fraternity in Beta Sigma Chapter. A former winner of the National Fraternity's Outstanding Alumnus Award, Brother Smé has been a continuously active brother in Alpha Phi Delta. In recent years, in addition to his serving the Fraternity as National Historian, Brother Smé has been very active in the expansion/new chapters in newly formed Long Island District. He has also been a Convention regular for many years. Brother Smé latest project, part of his work as National Historian, is a comprehensive updating of the "History of Alpha Phi Delta," which should be ready this summer.
Brother Smé was presented with this award on Friday evening, May 29, 2015 at the New York City Award's Banquet (which was composed of brothers of New York City's District and the newly-formed Long Island District). We congratulate him on this great honor.
