A Message from Our National President
on the Occasion of Founder's Day 2020

Brothers,
I hope this message finds you all well, safe, and healthy during these particularly challenging times.
November 5th, 2020 is a special day for our Fraternity as it marks the anniversary of our founding 106 years ago in 1914. I know this year has been a difficult one for many of us and I wanted to send this brief note to all of you to remind you that the bonds you have formed since you joined Alpha Phi Delta are eternal. No matter the obstacle in your path, your brothers will always be there for you.
Use this day as a reason to celebrate. Pick up a phone and call that pledge brother you haven't spoken to in a while; reminisce about your college years with members of your chapter; or host a virtual Founders Day Happy Hour to commemorate the great times shared with the brothers from all over that you have met throughout the years. Our brotherhood is a truly unique one and we should treasure the fact that the strong family ties we create live on well beyond our college days. I can promise you that there is no other Fraternity that can make the claim that they are truly a family in every sense of the word, like we can.
As National President, it is my job to guide us through these difficult times, and I cannot do that without all of you. Whether you have been continuously active since your first day as a pledge or you were never involved in anything after your first chapter meeting, you still have had an impact on the history of our Fraternity and I thank you for that. With that being said, there is no time better than the present to get involved, and I would love to be the person to help link you to your local alumni entity or to get you to assist with new initiatives as we continue to lead our Fraternity into our next 100 years. Please know that my door is always open to my brothers and I look forward to continuing to hear from so many of you.
On this Founders Day, remember to connect with your brothers. Take time out to visit our website and learn about the amazing accomplishments of the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation, pick up and read the latest edition of the Kleos, or follow this link to a video on our website to watch a Founder's Message to our Brotherhood: https://www.apd.org/founders-video.html.
In the bond,
