The brothers of Epsilon Nu, this fall, continue their Chapter’s service to the local community by providing manpower and generous care to assist in the running of a local food pantry which is operated by St. Luke’s Church in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Each month, the Food Pantry that the brothers help to operate reaches more and more area people in need of the pantry’s assistance. The Food Pantry is run in cooperation with the Central Pennsylvania Food Ban

Every Sunday, this fall semester, brothers from our Epsilon Nu Chapter have gone to the local branch of the Rails to Trails Conservancy and provided manpower for a local conservation project to clear invasive tree species and plant native trees in areas in and around Altoona. They do this work in concert with a local conservationist. The Rails to Trails Conservancy is a non-profit organization that takes former railway corridors and helps transform them in to scenic and usable trails — creating trail networks that connect people and places. The brothers of Epsilon Nu Chapter increased their membership by three, after initiating its Eta Pledge Class on November 15, 2019. The brothers of Epsilon Nu Chapter are students of the Penn State Altoona campus. The Eta Pledge Class members boasted a cumulative average GPA 3.43!
