Carl Izzo Scholarship - Psi
Alpha Phi Delta Loses Carl Izzo, eldest member of the only 4 generation family in Alpha Phi Delta, on Monday morning, July 17, 2017.
Eternal rest grant to Vincent, O Lord.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
Carl was a retired fellow scientist for Westinghouse Research Labs and also worked post retirement as an Industrial Paint Consultant. He served in the Air Force. He was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville, and an active 4th degree knight of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1480, serving as past Grand Knight. He was also active with the PA Railroad Technical and Historical Society and an avid model railroader. He also was a choir director at a few churches in Western Pennsylvania and provided piano lessons to countless students.

Carl was the the 2nd generation of 4 generations of Alpha Phi Delta brothers within the Izzo family as his father, his son and 2 grandsons are fraternity brothers. A number of years ago Carl established and endowed the Izzo Family Scholarship with the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation. Carl was a fine brother and he will be missed by us all.
