Anthony J. Carfang, Psi '69
Chairman
As Managing Director of Treasury Strategies, a division of Novantas, Inc., Tony works with corporate CFOs and Treasurers to optimize their treasury, payments and risk management strategies. He also helps guide many of the world’s largest banks and securities firms to position their services effectively in the marketplace. Tony founded Treasury Strategies in 1982 and merged it into Novantas in 2016.
He is a vocal advocate of clients’ interests surrounding regulatory issues and liquidity management. He has appeared on several shows including CNBC’s Kudlow Report, Fox Business and Bloomberg News. He is frequently quoted in the Wall Street Journal and has testified at numerous hearings in the U.S. House and Senate.
Tony received his MBA from Northwestern University and BS from Duquesne University. He founded the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation, which oversees a scholarship fund and other philanthropic activities, and is Vice Chair of the board at Duquesne University. He’s also a specialist in Italian genealogy and an avid chess player and coach.
Tony’s wife Carol is a pediatric nurse practitioner with a bachelors degree from Duquesne University and a master from the University of Wisconsin. Carol is a long time advocated for children with special needs. They have four children.

Tony was initiated into Beta Beta Chapter at Manhattan College in 1959 and graduated from their school of business. He served in the military and ran the family business for 45 years.
In 2004, Tony and his wife Rosina established the Anthony and Stella Barbieri Scholarship as a tribute to his parents for their generosity and love of learning and encouragement. Tony and Rosina have been married 48 years. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren and reside in Alpine, NJ.

Roger Boyd, Beta Rho '73
Director
Roger Boyd was inducted into Beta Rho chapter at Gannon University in the spring of 1973, where he served as President of his pledge class and took 17 pledge brothers from bid to induction. As an alumnus, Roger was a co-founder of the Naples, FL Alumni Club, where he serves as Treasurer. He also joined the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation Board of Directors in 2014.
Roger graduated from Gannon in 1976 with a B.S. in Accounting and Finance. He obtained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1992 from The College for Financial Planning and has completed additional graduate studies at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1998 and 2004.
Roger has been with UBS Financial Services, the world's largest wealth manager, since 2008. He is a Senior Vice President of Wealth Management and a Portfolio Manager, offering customized discretionary investment management programs as well as comprehensive wealth and estate planning services to a high net worth clientele. Prior to joining UBS, Roger spent 27 years working for Morgan Stanley in Manhattan's Financial District and Central New Jersey. Over his many years in the financial services business, Roger has been asked to speak, both to public groups as well as at Industry gatherings, and has shared his views on the importance of Behavioral Economics and Finance and the effect they have on portfolio performance and capital markets.
Roger and his wife Susan have two grown daughters, Sara and Emily. They divide their time between Western Monmouth County, NJ and Naples, FL.

Joseph Caldarella, Beta Sigma '73
Director
Joe was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated St Francis College with a BS in Accounting in 1976 and St John's University with an MBA in Finance in 1984. He also has a CPA.
Joe's career has taken him through various finance and accounting roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (pharmaceutical industry) since 1979. He retired in 2018 after serving as Senior VP and Controller (Chief Accounting Officer) for 12 years.
Chapter President of Beta Sigma, past President of the Brooklyn Alumni Club (BAC), past Treasurer for APD Housing and player/manager for the BAC softball team (1977-2016). Joe was instrumental in starting the APD Cares program since becoming a Director for the Foundation.
Married to Janet Caldarella since 1978 and father to Jenna and Greg. Joe resides in Boca Raton, Florida, but comes to NY/NJ for the summers.

Andrew Cozzolino, Beta Beta '87
Director
Andrew Cozzolino was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and was initiated into the Beta Beta Chapter of Manhattan College in 1987, and graduated in 1990 with a BS in Finance. As an undergraduate, at the Chapter level he held several officerships, was a National Officer (VP Undergraduate Affairs), and was awarded the National Outstanding Undergraduate Award of 1990. Andrew has also been a National Officer at the National level with roles as District Governor and VP-Public Relations. He is a current member of the Brooklyn Alumni Club and ongoing supporter of the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation.
Andrew’s career spans nearly 30 years in internal audit, compliance, and risk management within the international banking and asset management industry for three firms (Bank of America, Citibank, and AllianceBernstein). He has worked in over 20 countries and lived in New York, Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok, London, and Hong Kong. He currently resides in London where he oversees AllianceBernstein’s Non-US internal Audit Division covering over 25 countries.

David D'Eramo, Psi '61
Director Emeritus
David D’Eramo received a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Duquesne University and a MBA from Xavier University, where he was first in his graduating class in the hospital administration program. He then attended the University of Cincinnati, where he earned his second master’s degree in community health planning and a PhD. in political science, focusing on business, health planning and organizational theory.
Dave served Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford as its President and CEO for 16 years until his retirement in 2004. During his tenure, Dr. D’Eramo led the hospital through an era of rapid evolution in the health care industry. The primary result of this evolution has been the transformation of Saint Francis from a single hospital into an integrated health care delivery system known as Saint Francis Care. The largest Catholic hospital in New England, during his tenure, Saint Francis was recognized seven times as a Top 100 Hospital in the major teaching hospital category.
Prior to joining Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, David served as president and chief executive officer of Saint Vincent Charity Hospital, a 492-bed acute care teaching hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Dave is also distinguished in public service and was a member of President Bush’s task force on Faith Based Initiatives. Having served as chairman of a myriad of prominent boards, Dr. D’Eramo served on the boards of the New England Cognitive Center, the Malta House of Care Foundation, The Hartford Club, the Greater Hartford Arts Council and Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Inc. Dr. D’Eramo is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a diplomat and fellow of the American Academy of Medical Administrators. On the national level, Dr. D’Eramo is a member of the American Association of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. Dave’s current project is Dynamo Camp in Pistoia, Italy. The camp serves the needs of children with chronic illnesses.4
Dave and Judy currently make their home in Charleston, RI and Naples, Fla.

Fiore graduated from New York University, School of Arts of Sciences with a B.A. in Philosophy in 1976 and from Fordham University School of Law with a J.D. degree in 1979. He is a partner in the firm of Lewis and Fiore which was founded in 1980.
Charles is married to his lovely wife Gail, and they have three children: Caroline, and twins Michael and William.

Alexander J. Franki, Gamma Lambda '90
Director Emeritus
Alex Franki was initiated into Gamma Lambda chapter at Fordham University in 1990. While an undergraduate he served as Secretary, Vice President and eventually President of his Chapter. In 1995 Alex joined the New York Alumni Club and has served as Secretary and is currently Vice President.
In 1992 Alex started his own financial services business with Primerica Financial Services. Two years later he was the youngest person in the company's history to be promoted to Regional Vice President at the age of 20. His office is located in Brooklyn NY.
Alex and his wife Deidre live in Bay Ridge Brooklyn and have two children, Christian and Mia. He was elected as a Director in 2005 and has served as the Foundation Chairman since 2007.

Alex Franki was initiated into Gamma Lambda chapter at Fordham University in 1990. While an undergraduate he served as Secretary, Vice President and eventually President of his Chapter. In 1995 Alex joined the New York Alumni Club and has served as Secretary and is currently Vice President.

Peter Gaudiuso was initiated into Theta Beta chapter at New York University in December 1982. He served as Chapter Treasurer in 1983 and Chapter President in 1984. At the 1985 Summer convention, Theta Beta was recognized as outstanding Chapter for the 1984-85 school year. As an alumnus, he has been a member of the Brooklyn Alumni Club since 1985 and has served as its President from 1992 to 2012. From 2005 to 2015, he has served as an Alpha Phi Delta Foundation Director. In 2009 he took the responsibilities of Foundation Treasurer, a role he continues to serve today.
Peter graduated from New York University's College of Business and Public Administration with a B.S. majoring in Accounting and Computer Applications and Information Systems. With nearly 30 years of experience in Finance and Accounting within the luxury retail industry, he is presently the Finance Director for Moncler USA, Inc. Peter, a proud native of Brooklyn, lives in Rye, N.Y.

Robert Grecco, Beta Mu '74,
Director
After his spring of 1974 induction into Beta Mu Chapter and 1977 graduation from DePaul University, Bob began his career in public accounting. After 10 years working for a large and then small firm, Bob started his own accounting, audit and tax practice, where he continued until 2012, when he joined The Metraflex Company, a manufacturer and distributor of expansion joints and other piping products.
He currently chairs the board of directors and serves as an officer of four additional related companies. Bob has lived in the western suburbs of Chicago all of his life with his wife of nearly 40 years, Ginny, raising two daughters, Georgann (Bob) Mecozzi and Kathleen (Nick) Nahri. Both live in the Chicagoland area. Bob has one granddaughter, Lucia Mecozzi. Bob has served on several non-profit boards. He is currently past president of Interfaith Community Partners, a coalition of 13 churches that provide transportation and other services to older adults in western Cook and eastern DuPage counties in Illinois. He is active in his church, singing in the choir every Sunday. He will answer to Bob as his work colleagues know him or Bobby as his Chicago Alumni Club brothers know him or Robert Ross when he knows he is in trouble with the boss.

John J. Hadgkiss, Beta Rho '66

He develops and operates skilled care and senior residential facilities from concept; arranging financing and supervising construction, marketing and property management. Mr. Hadgkiss holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Gannon University in Erie, PA (MA: 1972; BA: 1969). He has completed additional graduate and professional study at Indiana University of PA (1976); Duquesne University (1979); and the University of Pittsburgh Graduate Schools of Business (1988).
John has served the fraternity as former president of the Pittsburgh Alumni Club, Past Executive Director of the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation (1996-97) and was National Outstanding Alumnus in 2002.

Michael P. Iacovelli, Theta Beta '81
Director Emeritus, Chair, Communication Strategy Committee
Mike was inducted into Theta Beta Chapter at New York University in May of 1981. As an undergraduate he held many chapter positions and upon graduation became a member of the Brooklyn Alumni Club. For three years, he was President of the BAC, and spent several years serving as secretary. He served as Vice President for Alumni Affairs for one year and he has served as a Director of the Foundation from 2005 through 2015. He has served as the Executive Director of the Centennial and is currently the President of the Brooklyn Alumni Club. In 2013, he received the National Outstanding Alumnus Award.
Mike's son Marc is a brother of Delta Theta, Marist College, his son Adam is a brother of Gamma Iota, Pace University, and his nephew, Frank Chiofalo, is a brother of Gamma Sigma, St John's Staten Island.
In 1983 he received his B.S. in Computer Science and Management and in 1985 he completed his M.B.A. in Finance and International Business, both from The New York University Stern School of Business. Currently Mike is the Vice President of Software Development at iconectiv, a subsidiary of Ericsson, and has over 25 years experience in the Information Technology in the telecommunications and digital media industries.
He is a proud New York Yankee Season Ticket Holder since 1985.

Larry received his Bachelor of Science, Industrial Engineering in 1991 and was inducted into the Beta Xi chapter in the Spring of 1988. He was active in NJIT’s student government and was the chapter’s representation on the IFC for 2 years. As an alumni he is currently Treasurer of the North Jersey Alumni club and the Secretary of the Brooklyn Alumni Club.
As Director of Customer Experience at Cisco Systems, Inc, Larry works with Fortune 50 clients to drive adoption of Cisco’s solutions to meet the business challenges his clients have identified. Leveraging his IT experience, manufacturing and financial services acumen, Larry is positioned to solve various challenges facing corporations today.
Throughout his career, Larry has held various IT and Electrical Engineering positions within Nabisco, Thrupoint, Sanofi Pharmaceutical, Automated Control Concepts and W&H Systems. He is an activist for raising funds for various charity organizations including: The Make a Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, JDRF and the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation.
Larry is married to Laura for over 25 years and have 2 children. Harrison is a founding father of the Epsilon Lambda (University of New Haven) chapter and resides in Manassas VA. Justin is currently attending the University of Delaware studying finance and management.

Larry received his Bachelor of Science, Industrial Engineering in 1991 and was inducted into the Beta Xi chapter in the Spring of 1988. He was active in NJIT’s student government and was the chapter’s representation on the IFC for 2 years. Throughout his career, Larry has held various IT and Electrical Engineering positions within Nabisco, Thrupoint, Sanofi Pharmaceutical, Automated Control Concepts and W&H Systems. He is an activist for raising funds for various charity organizations including: The Make a Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, JDRF and the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation.
Larry is married to Laura for over 25 years and have 2 children. Harrison is a founding father of the Epsilon Lambda (University of New Haven) chapter and resides in Manassas VA. Justin is currently attending the University of Delaware studying finance and management.

He has participated in the acquisition, development, and renovation of more than 1,000 apartments and 100,000 square feet of commercial space in metro Denver.

Frank Perciavalle, Psi ’78
Director
Frank was initiated into Psi chapter at Duquesne University in 1978 and is one of the first recipients of an Alpha Phi Delta Scholarship. He served as Chapter Vice President and chaired committees for Psi’s annual Valentine Ball fundraiser. He was also President of the University’s Italian club. Frank received his MBA from Case Western Reserve University and BA from Duquesne majoring in both Math and Economics.
Frank’s career was spent in Supply Chain and Logistics. He received two professional certifications and worked in management and leadership positions during his career at The Sherwin-Williams Company, Linde Gas, and BASF Corporation, where he retired in 2019 after serving as Division Director of Logistics for North America. In addition to his career, Frank spent 10 years as a college level instructor helping professionals achieve certification in the Supply Chain field.

Joseph Rahtelli, Beta Beta '82

In 1985 Joe received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and won the fraternity’s National Outstanding Undergraduate Award. He has served the fraternity on the national level in many capacities including National President (1990-1992) when the fraternity reached heights in active chapters and initiates that have yet to be surpassed. In addition, Joe has started/reactivated ten chapters in the fraternity. In 1996, he received the fraternity’s National Outstanding Alumnus Award. He was the first brother in the Fraternity’s history to be recognized with both District and National awards as an undergraduate and alumnus.
Joe has enjoyed a successful career as a process automation engineer consultant. Also, he has a financial services business. Joe and Donna, his wife of thirty five years, have three children—Joseph II, Michelle, and Matthew. Joseph II pledged Delta Theta chapter at Marist College and became the first father-son to both win the Outstanding Undergraduate award. Seven years later, his younger son Matthew, who pledged at Beta Beta and transferred to Marist, won the Outstanding Undergraduate Award as well, becoming the second father-son and second biological brothers to both win.
In 2021, the family established an Alpha Phi Delta Scholarship. He is currently serving his second stint as a Director of Alpha Phi Delta Foundation.
Joe and Donna are longtime residences of Sandy Hook, Connecticut. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus, currently serving as Connecticut's State Secretary.

Currently, as an Assistant Vice President, Chris serves as a Senior Consultant, managing a book of Henderson Brothers’ clients with between 50-500 employees. He works to provide expert employee benefits consulting services across all lines of health and ancillary benefit plans. Chris also serves as the Director of Emerging Markets where he is responsible for the strategic direction of all Henderson Brothers accounts from 2-100 employees plus Individual and Medicare customers.
Chris has a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Duquesne University, holds his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation from the Society of Human Resources and is licensed in Life, Accident and Health.

Doug Sundo, Psi '75

Born and raised in the greater Pittsburgh area, Douglas Sundo was inducted into Psi Chapter at Duquesne University in 1975. As a dedicated alumnus, he served in a variety of leadership roles with the Pittsburgh Alumni Club.Doug was elected to serve as Western Pennsylvania District Governor in 2001; and served continuously in this position until 2006. Brother Sundo was chosen as National Vice President in 2006. In 2007, he was elected as the 49th National President. During his tenure as president, the position of National Historian was re-established, and new editions of The Dokime and Ecce Signum were introduced. While serving as National President, attendance at National Council meetings and National Conventions increased. Brother Sundo was presented with the Fraternity’s Outstanding Alumnus Award in 2010.

Gary Van Schaften, Beta Lambda '68

Gary Van Schaften was inducted into Alpha Phi Delta, Beta Lambda Chapter at Saint Francis College in Loretto, Pa. in 1968. He served as Chapter Secretary and then as President. During these years, the chapter received Most Improved and Outstanding Chapter Awards. Gary was also named National Outstanding Undergraduate in 1970.
Gary has been a great supporter of Beta Lambda Chapter serving as a leader in the corporation that owned the original fraternity house and built the current house. Gary and several other alumni purchased the house at SFC and ran it for approximately 20 years.
Gary is a CPA and worked for 18 years at Arthur Andersen, where he served as a partner. In 1989, he joined Salomon Brothers as Director of Accounting. During the last 15 years Gary has been CFO of 3 different companies.
Gary and his wife, Judy, also a graduate of SFC, reside in Wayne, New Jersey. They have four grown sons and twin granddaughters. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteer President of the Diabetes Foundation of Northern New Jersey.
