To celebrate the 107th Anniversary a new book has been published by Central Office entitled “The Founders of Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity: A Biography.” This new 20-page volume is short read; it includes a biography for each founder, along with a brief four-page history of the founding years of the Fraternity. The hard copy of the book is available for $6.99 at this link.

​Scholarships for 2021

The Alpha Phi Delta Foundation's Scholarship Division has awarded 64 scholarship awards for 2021, some 51 of which were awarded to current undergraduate brothers in the Fraternity, and the remainder going to undergraduate students who are relatives of our brothers. Recruitment and Member Education Handbook Issued!

Our Chapter leaders have received our brand new educational publication that will be the cornerstone of our leadership program in the coming years: The Recruitment and Member Education Handbook. This 100+ page handbook is an all-inclusive volume covering an array of topics; it includes sections on recruitment; the pledge program; member education; utilizing positive activities and ideas; hazing laws (state by state); risk management; and membership ethics -- and much more. Chapter Leaders received multiple copies of The Recruitment and Member Education Handbook this fall semester, enough for all of their officers. This handbook, was produced by Central Office, with a preface by National President, Salvatore Flagiello. It has been produced to assist the National Fraternity in its development of leadership within our Chapters and colonies.

History of Alpha Phi Delta 1914-2020 -- Now Available!

Big announcement: The History of Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity 1914-2020 is now available. At 446 pages it is nearly double the size of previous editions, with over 1,500+ photos and images spread throughout this entertaining yet informative telling our story. Written by Ronald Smé and designed by Central Office, the book is worth a look. It comes in three versions: Softcover ($25), Coil-bound ($35) and Hardcover ($45). Flagiello & Zammit Re-Elected as National President and Vice President for 2021-22

Brother Salvatore Flagiello (Gamma Rho '06) was re-elected National President of Alpha Phi Delta by a unanimous vote of the National Council during a special meeting on June 5, 2021. Brother Flagiello is the 55th National President of Fraternity; he previous served at National Vice, Expansion Chairman, and New York City District Governor, among other. Along with Brother Flagiello, Brother Paul Zammit (Gamma Sigma '03), a former National Secretary and former North Jersey District Governor, was re-elected as National Vice President by unanimous vote at that same meeting. He is the Fraternity's 47th National Vice President. Both Brother Flagiello and Zammit began their second term as National President and Vice President, respectively on July 1, 2021. The brotherhood wishes them continued success in office. Faciamus!

The National Council Meets in Maryland and Reactivates

An alumni colony made up of alumni of William Paterson University in New Jersey was the basis of the reactivation of the Gamma Nu Alumni Association of Alpha Phi Delta at a 2021 Special Meeting of the National Council on June 5, 2021. Approved unanimously, the Gamma Nu Alumni Association which was originally founded at the 7th Alumni Association of Alpha Phi Delta, was reactivated effective immediately. The new entity is led by President Raymond Rokicki Jr. and Vice President Glenn Perry. The reactivation petition stated that the Gamma Nu Alumni Association "[H]opes to contribute to the success of the undergrad chapter as well as be a presence and able to assist the North Jersey District at-large."
