Welcome to Official Website of Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity
Alpha Phi Delta is an Italian Heritage Fraternity; it was founded at Syracuse University on November 5 1914. Since its founding, over 21,000 men have become brothers of Alpha Phi Delta. Currently, the Fraternity has active colonies and chapters at 45 school throughout the United States; additionally, it has 28 alumni organizations. For more information click here.
Alpha Phi Delta Turns 104!
November 5th is Founders' Day for Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity. It is one of Alpha Phi Delta's National Fraternal Days of Observance. Today we celebrate with great happiness, the Fraternity's 104th Anniversary. Our brotherhood today extends its deepest thanks to our Founders, Joseph Cangiamila, Dominic Ciolli, Ferdinand DiBartolo, Anthony Frascati, Nicholas Frunzi, Otto Gelormini and Cesidio Guarini for what they began in 1914. Today, 104 years later, Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity remains America's only National Italian Heritage Fraternity, and remains the living legacy of what our Founding Fathers created. Faciamus!

Nat'l Convention Boasts Large Attendance; Many Award Winners
The Alpha Phi Delta 2018 National Convention was held from August 1-5, at the Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Maryland. With some 250 conventioneers filling in during the five day gathering, the highlight, as always, was the Saturday evening Awards Banquet. The winners this year were: Outstanding Undergraduate: Alec Knaust (Gamma Mu); Outstanding Alumnus: Jeffrey Breen (Gamma Sigma); Outstanding District: Delaware Valley District; Outstanding Chapter: Delta Epsilon (John Jay); Most Improved Chapter: Beta Iota (Utica); Outstanding Community Service: Epsilon Gamma (St. Joseph); Outstanding Alumni Club: New York Alumni Club; and Outstanding Alumni Association: Delta Epsilon Alumni Association. Chi Chapter: 90 Years Old this Coming School Year
On March 1, 2019, our Chi Chapter turns 90 years, and will be our oldest active Chapter. To prepare our brothers at Penn State University for this big event, National Chaplain Lentini recently presented the Chapter with a special 90th Anniversary banner. This banner sports not just the anniversary years, but grayed into the background of the banner are the names of every brother ever initiated into the Chapter.
